Ousmane Dembele's situation at Barcelona remains difficult, especially with talk of a possible deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar, and Clement Lenglet believes that his compatriot must be humble in order to play for the club once again.
The Blaugrana didn't miss Dembele's creativity as Antoine Griezmann stepped up to the mark on his home debut.
"Dembele has to be humble in order to play again," Lenglet explained.
"I'm not the one who decides whether he is punished or not.
"I'm his teammate and I prefer to see him on the pitch."
After suffering a shock 1-0 defeat to Athletic Club in the LaLiga Santander opener, Lenglet was happier with a much more complete performance on Sunday evening.
"This match will help us because we did everything right from start to finish," Lenglet went on.
"Sometimes you concede goals and you must accept it.
"Yet, the ghosts from the first match never appeared."
As well as the nature of the 5-2 victory, one particularly highlight was the senior debut of 16-year-old, Ansu Fati, with Lenglet complimentary on the teenager's display.
"He played a good few minutes," Lenglet added. "In training you see his quality.
"Now he must learn from everyone in this team."
