Liverpool will reportedly consider a move for Brighton's Moises Caicedo if Jordan Henderson and Fabinho both move to Saudi Arabia.

Reds captain Henderson is thought to be on the verge of accepting an offer from Al-Ettifaq, which will see him paid £700,000-a-week for his services, under new manager and Liverpool legend Gerrard.

Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad are set to make a formal approach for Fabinho with a view to making a £40million bid for the Brazilian.

The departure of the experienced duo will leave Liverpool short in midfield again despite the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

According to talkSPORT, Jurgen Klopp's side could join the rice for Caicedo, who is valued £100million by Brighton.

The Ecuadorian is one of the most sought after players in the Premier League this summer, with Chelsea leading the race to sign him.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are currently negotiating a move for the Brighton midfielder, with the Seagulls holding firm on that price tag.

Caicedo admitted this week that he is desperate to join Chelsea, saying that he 'couldn't say no' to the Blues while calling them a 'beautiful team'.

He also seemed relaxed about his future, claiming he 'knows how to handle' the attention on his situation.

'It's a very great emotion. What guy wouldn't want them to be talking about him?', Caicedo told La Cancha Con Majo.

'I know how to handle it. I don't get carried away by emotions. I'm enjoying time with my family for now. There is pressure, but I am calm.

'I am waiting for whatever God decides. He will know what is best for me.'
