Liverpool are set to rival West Ham and Wolves in their pursuit of Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott this summer.
West Ham and Wolves are already on his trail but Liverpool's head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter were among the crowd to check on the 19-year-old as England U20s faced Germany last month.
Scott hasn't played since picking up a ligament injury on international duty the following weekend.
The youngster has made 86 appearances for Bristol City having joined the club from Guernsey in 2020.
Scott became Guernsey's youngest ever player when he played for the first-team at the age of 16.
Last season he received Bristol City's young player of the year award following some impressive displays.
West Ham have watched Scott in action as they prepare for life after Declan Rice.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have had significant issues in midfield this season, with Jurgen Klopp's side appearing weak in that area.
It seems likely that Liverpool will look to strengthen in midfield, with Inter Milan's Nicolo Barella amongst the players linked6 with a move to Anfield.
Borussia Dortmund and England star Jude Bellingham has been linked with Liverpool for some time but it remains to be seen if a deal will materialise, especially if Klopp's team miss out on Champions League qualification.
