Federico Chiesa is part of Liverpool’s 23-man travelling squad for Tuesday’s Champions League opener with AC Milan.

The forward is among those players who departed John Lennon Airport on Monday afternoon as the Reds get ready for their visit to San Siro on matchday one.

Arne Slot’s men began their journey to Italy shortly before 4pm UK time, with a press conference scheduled for later this evening. The head coach will be joined by a member of his squad at the top table to preview the fixture with I Rossoneri.
