Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is getting closer to setting a new personal record for goals scored in a single season this season according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 26-year-old Belgian international joined Inter in a club record €65 million transfer from Premier League side Manchester United and has scored goals for fun in a Nerazzurri shirt.

The former Anderlecht player grabbed yet another brace in last night's 2-0 Serie A win away to Udinese which has taken his total goal tally to 20 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.

Lukaku has already surpassed his total from last season by four goals and needs seven more goals to match his current personal record of 27.

At his current scoring rate and given how many games are left until the end of the season, it should not take long for Lukaku to set a new record for himself. A first 30+ goal season of his career certainly cannot be ruled out.
