Manchester United are reportedly looking to accelerate a permanent Rasmus Hojlund transfer to Napoli after lessons learned from the Jadon Sancho situation.
Hojlund, 22, joined Serie A champions Napoli on loan this summer, with Antonio Conte’s side having a £38 million option to buy next summer included in the deal.
The striker has since impressed back in Italy, scoring four goals in his opening six games across all competitions.
Now, according to The Mirror, both clubs are keen on bringing a permanent deal forward to January, with Napoli instigating the conversation.
United are increasingly open to sanctioning the deal in the hopes of avoiding a similar situation to what happened with Jadon Sancho last season.
Sancho spent 2024-25 on loan at Chelsea, but the West London club ultimately paid a fee of £5 million to get out of their £25 million obligation to buy the winger.

United should avoid any penalty clouse inclusion in any such deals, the obligation should stand with no penalty clouse
