What's been said?
Heading into the game with Sevilla, Ten Hag revealed his thoughts on what he is expecting from Sevilla this evening.
'Your question already tells the answer, because they have a big reputation winning the Europa League, Ten Hag said at his pre-match press conference.
'They have won the Europa League more than all clubs in Europe.
'That's a magnificent record so we have to be aware of it because that's their target. We are 100 per cent motivated to go again.
'If we want to beat them, we have to play our best football and everyone has to deliver their best performance and if you don't do it, we have a problem.
'We are fully focused and fully prepared for this game.'
As for Sevilla, Mendilibar addressed claims that United are favourites coming into this tie. He stated that Sevilla's European record makes his side a threat for the Red Devils.
'[It is] my first game in the Europa League managing a team. I face up to it with an amazing willingness to play this game and compete in this game,' he said.
'The idea will always be to respect our opponents and try to win the game. I am convinced they will try and win this game too and our history, as Sevilla, is perhaps even bigger than theirs. We are going to focus on the game to compete and focus on winning it.
'We have to compete against them. We have to compete with the weapons we have. [They are] at such a high level, Manchester United, we know that. They have so many players and a big budget.'
