There could be some significant changes in Serie A over the next few days, with several clubs reportedly close to appointing new managers.
Juventus, for instance, are edging closer to naming Maurizio Sarri as their new boss, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia).
The report indicates that Sarri, who won the Europa League, his first trophy as a manager, last week, will say goodbye to Chelsea on Monday before heading to Juventus to replace Massimiliano Allegri.
According to Tuttosport, Sarri wants to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from his former club Napoli once he takes over at Juventus.
AC Milan are also looking to bring in a new manager following the departure of Gennaro Gattuso.
Milan are aiming to appoint club legend Paolo Maldini as their technical director, while Marco Giampaolo, the Sampdoria boss, could become their new manager, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Another Italian side looking for a new boss are Roma, who are targeting Shakhtar Donetsk's Paulo Fonseca, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
If he was appointed then Fonseca would replace Claudio Ranieri, who left the club at the end of the season.

So with Sarri leaving Chelsea, who's at the top of their shopping list? Moriniho is available.

The only sane explanation for getting rid of Sarri despite an hypertensive first season and in spite of having no quality replacement in place is somehow Chelsea manages to win trophies in chaos. Who knows, they could end up firing three managers next season and yet up with the ucl.

Oh, we were under the impression that a very important player suggested to their top Italian club that a certain moany Maureen should manage them. Surely he'll get one of these ones, no? Bwahaha!

I think Chelsea fans will regret treating Sarri like they did. After such a abdominal unwelcome reception I wound't want to stay around either.

Nope. No, still no sign of Maureen getting another coaching job. If the defensive Italians don't want him he's definitely screwed.

Sarri has been treated woefully at Chelsea. Considering how far ahead City and Liverpool are he hasn't done badly at all. There's no quick fix manager. Look at what Klopp had to do at Liverpool to get the team to where it is. The best example is Man United. They've tried everything to reclaim the Fergie days but as of yet can't and won't give a manager a fair go. Who's out there that can do a better job for Chelsea?

Sarri should stay for another year!! Why are we so happy to let him go, just to appease some moany fans!

Not bothered either way. If he stays then surely things can only get better, if somebody new comes in then at least we don't have to potentially put up with snore fest possession football with little penetration in the final 3rd. Things were starting to look a little better of late but I'm still not sold on 'Sarri-ball'. We may have a real merry go round of managers over the past 20 years but we continue to win things pretty much every season.

Does this rag ever do any reporting other than cut and paste from other sources?

Good for football if Italy strengthens again. Conte at Inter is a good start.

Is it too late now to say Sarri?
