its crazy really, mandzukic was perfect upfront with ronaldo. by far our best partnership last season. mandzukic would do all the hard running and defensive work so ronaldo could relax near the halfway line and save his energy. now we have no forwards who put in defensive work, higuain and ronaldo refuse to chase down the ball or put in any defensive work. that leaves douglas costa to put pressure on the opposition defense. i wasnt happy when sarri was appointed but i thought that maybe he could prove me wrong and be successful, but so far all the decisions he has made are baffling to say the least
