According to journalist Lluis Canut, Lionel Messi was unhappy with Barcelona signing Griezmann this summer - because the club told him there was no money.
Canut revealed that Messi and his father agreed to a delay in his salaries with the club because they are told there was no money in the bank.
However, shortly after, Barcelona announced the signing of Griezmann for 120 million euros.

Messi should be able to anything at this point in time to retain the status quo Vadis he has built with FC Barcelona,, He should've known that it's going to end up this way prior to now judging by the way Eto and Ibromovic were treated before they force their transfer out from Barcelona.. I think greizmann was a good signing for Barcelona, l don't think it was a sensible thing for greizmann to do... Barcelona could have easily bought Depay with Malcom money and rotated him with Dembele, Carles Perez and Fati and kept Coutinho. But griezmann is a great striker, he just needs time to adapt to the playing style, but he wasn't necessarily needed, look how Alcacer is performing at Dortmund... Barcelona need to go back to investing time in the youth... Why are they becoming like Madrid... That was what made Barcelona unique, the majority of players like Messi, jordi Alba, busquets came through the youth
