Milan 3-1 Chievo: Higuain hits double but Suso steals the show with THREE assists

AC Milan were 3-1 victors over Chievo in Serie A on Sunday, with Gonzalo Higuain finding the net twice - and Suso providing three assists.

After a sloppy header back to Donnarumma, the Italian is forced to concede a corner after diving low to his right to deny an own-goal. The corner which is swung in from the left is easily cleared.

Higuain is an expert from that range inside the box. Suso’s delivery from the right is perfect for Higuain to steer home into the bottom right corner after creating a yard of space for himself in the box.

Moments after Bonaventura misses for a wonderful ball from Suso, the Spaniard's perfect delivery from the right is this time turned home by Higuain.

Suso is completely free in the centre of the pitch just outside the penalty area. The Chievo defence split and Suso slides through the simplest of passes to Higuain who is able to apply the finish. 2-0.

The Argentine forward is well placed in the centre of the Chievo box and easily slots the ball into the net.

It’s beautiful work from Bonaventura who skips passed his man with some body feints before dropping his shoulder and driving to the left where he fires a left-footed strike from outside the box into the bottom right corner of the net.

 It’s Suso again who grabs his third assist of the game. The Spaniard plays a simple ball into the path of Bonaventura and the Italian is able to do the rest himself.

The forward is able to run onto a loose ball just outside of the Milan penalty area and fire into the bottom left corner. Donnarumma stood no chance. 3-1.

Leris’ hopeful forward ball drops perfectly for Pellissier who is able to use the pace of the ball and strike it low into the corner of the goal.

Gonzalo Higuain scored twice as AC Milan cruised to a 3-1 Serie A victory over bottom club Chievo on Sunday.

The former Napoli forward netted his brace as part of a comfortable first-half showing, setting Gennaro Gattuso's side on the path to just their third league win of the season.

Giacomo Bonaventura added a third for Milan after the break, before Sergio Pellissier pulled one back for the visitors in the 63rd minute.

Pellisier's consolation extended a run of Milan having scored and conceded in each of their last 11 Serie A matches, which have now featured 41 goals in total.
