Alessandro Nesta is rumoured to be the new Coach of recently-relegated Frosinone, beating Fabio Grosso to the job.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the two World Cup winners were in the running for the position after Marco Baroni left by mutual consent.
Sportitalia claim this evening that Nesta has won the duel and will be appointed next week when he returns from his vacation in Miami.
The 43-year-old has had two management jobs since his retirement in 2015, at NASL team Miami FC, then at Perugia in Serie B for the 2018-19 season.
He amassed 14 wins, eight draws and 18 defeats at Perugia, losing the Serie B promotion play-off 4-1 to Hellas Verona.
