Milan are reportedly locked in talks to sign Sassuolo and Italy midfielder Stefano Sensi.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira, contacts are ongoing between Milan director Paolo Maldini and Sensi’s agent Beppe Riso.
However, Schira warns Sassuolo will not budge on their €25m valuation of the 23-year-old.
The Cesena youth product has enjoyed a breakout season with the Neroverdi, earning his first Italy caps in the process.
He could replace Lucas Biglia, another deep-lying midfielder who has been linked with an exit from San Siro this summer.
