Milan right-back Andrea Conti suffered a left shoulder injury

Milan right-back Andrea Conti suffered a left shoulder injury in the Rossoneri’s defeat to Torino on Sunday night.

“We can confirm that AC Milan defender Andrea Conti has suffered an injury to his left shoulder following a collision during the Torino v Milan game on Sunday, the 28 April,” read a statement.

“The player underwent radiological exams which have excluded any fractures, but confirmed a first-degree sprain to the acromioclavicular joint.

“Conti will undergo further examinations in the coming hours.”

The 25-year-old has only recently returned from a long injury lay-off and has made just 12 appearances for the club between cup and league this season.
