AC Milan have reportedly ended their interest in Gremio forward Everton Soares.
Having broken into the Brazil squad, Everton has emerged as a potential transfer target for a wide number of European clubs.
However, the €120m (£103.78m) release clause in the 23-year-old's contract is proving to be a stumbling block.
Given their issues with FFP, Milan have opted to accept defeat in their pursuit of the winger, according to Calciomercato.
Arsenal have previously been linked with a bid for Everton, who has a contract with Gremio until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Well I would withdraw too because. 1, transfer from Brasílian league is always riddled with ownership and hidden fees issues. For example: His release clause might be $120m but you’ll have to pay another agency who owns 40% of him some fees like that and some other man who owns 15% of him and still pay his agent fees.. it might end up costing almost 200m... You can look into Neymar’s transfer as a case study... remember his transfer case is still in court
