The ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid striker received a pass from Weston McKennie but it is unclear whether the Spanish striker was offside.
The action continued with Morata who assisted Ronaldo. The Portuguese was blocked off by Berat Djimsiti with the ball thatcame back to Morata who attempted a back-heel flick wide of an empty net.
Pirlo didn’t take it well and kicked some bottles of water that were close to him, but Morata was probably off-side.
If he had scored, VAR would have disallowed the goal.
