Napoli are not interested in a move for AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez, a report claims, despite speculation in the media suggesting otherwise.
Sempremilan reported on Friday that Rodriguez has already reached an agreement with Milan in January: the club will allow him to move on so as not to risk losing his place in the Switzerland national team for the upcoming European Championships next year.
We learned that the 27-year-old has even already sold his apartment in Milan ahead of his impending exit, with Milan asking for a permanent transfer – and not a loan – at a minimum price of €15m.
Naples-based outlet il Mattino (via MilanNews.it) claimed earlier on Monday that Gennaro Gattuso is pushing to reunite with Rodriguez at Napoli.
However, according to Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – Napoli are unlikely to go after Ricardo Rodriguez next month.
The Partenopei consider themselves as already covered in that role, and will not make any further purchases.
