United remain willing to sell Hojlund, who is available for just over £30M depsite signing for the club in a £72M deal in August 2023. Reports state that Italian giants Napoli are moving forward to sign the Danish international, as talks with the Red Devils have been ongoing for several days.
Hojlund is said to be earning around £2.4million a year at the Premier League side which is a hefty fee for a forward who has scored 26 goals in 95 games altogether. However, the Daily Mail report that Napoli are willing to bump up his pay even further despite his inconsistent performances.
The report states that the Serie A side are said to have offered an initial €5million (£4.3m) loan deal to Man United for Hojlund, with the option to make the move permanent for €40m (£34.5m). A loan move has been touted due to his high wages which do not seem to be a problem for Napoli who may have been able to bring down the £30M price tag.
Hojlund went 16 consecutive Premier League games without a goal last season, leading to some harsh criticism from the pundits. His current contract at manchester United lasts until 2028 and although loan deals have been reported, The Athletic claim that United seek a sale which Napoli could agree before the transfer window shuts next week.

Manchester united needs to have options at 9, all clubs have back up options and they have to let clubs ask for a player they think they can convince and not making players looked like they are not wanted by the club.

Rasmus will be a hit at Napoli just like McTominay and Kevin Debryne. Coz Antonio Conte is a much better manager than Amorin. Napoli will win Serie A again. Man Utd will regret selling Rasmus. This guy was leading the line alone for 2 years without getting injured and without proper assists. Rasmus is only 22 but is very strongly built. Rasmus is not the problem at Man Utd. it's something else. Guess what?
