Napoli unsure about keeping Spurs midfielder Ndombele

Napoli do not have an obligation to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham this summer.

There was a suggestion that if the Italian side, who are set to win Serie A, qualified for the Champions League, they would have to buy Ndombele.

However, the French midfielder's loan deal only includes an option to buy, not an obligation.

That is according to football.london, with the outlet stating that Napoli are torn on Ndombele.

While he has played 35 games in all competitions, most of those matches have involved him coming off the bench late in games.

Ndombele has not shown the form at Spurs or in Italy that made him such a huge talent in France a few years ago.
