Lazio have officially announced the signing of Bayern youngster Arijon Ibrahimović.

S.S. Lazio announces that they have acquired the right to the sports performance of the player Arijon Ibrahimović from FC Bayern München on a temporary basis with an option to buy him back, and a counter-redemption.
The German, born in 2005, will wear jersey number 27.

FC Bayern have sent 19-year-old forward Arijon Ibrahimović on loan to Italian club Lazio for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. Ibrahimović has been on the books at Bayern since 2018 and signed a contract extension in July until 2027.
Christoph Freund, FC Bayern sporting director: “Arijon is a young player with great prospects who’s constantly developing. He was able to gain valuable experience in Serie A last season and is now expected to take the next steps at Lazio. Arijon has been at Bayern since a young age. We want to promote players like him. He gives his all in every training session and now needs regular playing time at a top level. We’ll follow him closely because he has everything you need.”

Ibrahimović joined Bayern from Nürnberg at the age of 13. He played a total of 48 games for the U17s and U19s, scoring 25 goals. This season the forward has scored two goals in four games for the FC Bayern reserves in the fourth-tier Regionalliga, while he’s also featured for the first team in the 5-1 Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk, in the Bundesliga meeting with Heidenheim and in the DFB Cup victory at Mainz.
Ibrahimović has previous experience in Italy’s top flight from his season-long loan at Frosinone, scoring one goal across 16 appearances in the 2023/24 season.
