I can not wait to see Godin and Skriniar togheter. What a rock solid defence it will be.

Really hope it's not a Vidic 2.0, we are giving him a 3 year contract...

He’s been amazing 4 of the last 5 years. Only season I would say he wasn’t good/great was 16/17. But the past 2 years we’ve had the best defense in the top 5 leagues.

Kinda crazy how a "policy" stops the club from giving one of the best defenders in the clubs history if im not mistaken a 2 year contract. He still plays well and is a great leader.

Likely after taxes whereas the atletico figure is pre-tax. As a rule of thumb, Italian wages for players are normally post-tax.

i think he's going to volunteer to play for inter - no wages whatsoever

Nah, since we're in the same situation now with Miranda instead of Godin. The only CB not getting much game time is Ranocchia.

Instead Godin, opted for Inter’s offer of €6,75 million per season

Italy is probably the best league to go to when you're an aging defender. More focus on tactics. Also, Milan is a lot better than Manchester as a city to live.
