PSG centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani (26) has joined Juventus FC on loan, both clubs have announced.

The 26-year-old France international agreed last week to spend the remainder of the 2024-2025 season in Turin. Kolo Muani’s loan move includes no option to make his move permanent. The former Eintracht Frankfurt striker PSG paid €90m for eighteen months ago has undertaken his medical last Friday with Thiago Motta’s Serie A giants.

Juventus notably fended off competition from Serie A rivals Milan and Premier League clubs the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham to sign Kolo Muani on loan. La Vecchia Signora were in the market for a centre-forward as their only option currently in this area is Serbia international striker Dušan Vlahović (24) as Arkadiusz Milik (30) remains injury-prone. Kolo Muani could make his Juventus debut this Tuesday with I Bianconeri playing Serie A leaders Napoli.

Kolo Muani’s loan deal was previously cast into doubt as PSG’s loan quota was maxed out. The setback caused uproar within Juventus but PSG opted to terminate Juan Bernat’s contract to allow Kolo Muani to join Juventus on loan. Kolo Muani will wear the No. 20 jersey at Juventus.

Juventus have signed Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani on loan until the end of the season, the Serie A club announced on Thursday.

The Bianconeri's deal for the France international will see them pay an initial loan fee of €1million plus an additional amount that could reach €2.6m.

Kolo Muani has been out of favour at PSG and struggled to get into Luis Enrique's starting lineup this season.

He has only made two league starts this term despite opening the campaign with two goals in his first three games, though he remains a regular in Didier Deschamps' France setup.

The 26-year-old joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023 for a reported fee of €90m and has scored 11 goals in 54 games for the Ligue 1 champions.

In 27 appearances for France, Kolo Muani has netted eight goals, though he memorably missed a huge chance to score the winning goal in the 2022 World Cup final, which they lost on penalties to Argentina.

Juventus are the only unbeaten side in Serie A this season, but 13 draws in 21 games have left Thiago Motta's side fifth in the table and 13 points behind leaders Napoli, who they visit on Saturday.
