OFFICIAL: Real Madrid sign left-back Fran Garcia from Vallecano.

Real Madrid have signed left-back Fran Garciá from Rayo Vallecano on a 4-year contract.

Real Madrid have announced their first signing of the summer, bringing left-back Fran Garcia back to the club three seasons after leaving for Rayo Vallecano.

The transfer had been confirmed by both Rayo President Raul Martin Presa and Carlo Ancelotti in recent months, with an agreement first reported February.

Garcia is small but lightning quickm, and possesses impressive stamina to get up and down the pitch. At Rayo, his constant running on the outside of Alvaro Garcia was one of Andoni Iraola’s main weapons at Vallecas.

OFFICIAL REAL MADRID STATEMENT: 

Real Madrid C. F. and Rayo Vallecano have agreed to the transfer of player Fran García, who is linked to the club for the next four seasons.

Fran García belonged to the Real Madrid youth academy from 2013, where he arrived at the age of 14, until 2020. He played two seasons at Castilla and debuted with the first team of Real Madrid in 2018.

On Monday, June 12, at 12:00 p.m. in Ciudad Real Madrid, the presentation of Fran García as the new Real Madrid player will take place.

Then, Fran García will appear before the media.
