On June 5th , Genoa officially announced that the club has extended its contract with goalkeeper Josep Martínez until 2029.
Martínez is 28 years old, from the Netherlands, and plays as a goalkeeper. To date, the player has made 16 appearances for Genoa, keeping 5 clean sheets. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €4 million.
Martínez said: "I am delighted to continue wearing this shirt. I quickly settled in Genoa, and the passionate fan base here motivates me to keep moving forward. Settling in here was much easier than I expected, thanks to my teammates, coaching staff, and the club's organization and ambition.
