Official: Lazio send Valon Berisha to Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan

Lazio have officially sent Valon Berisha to Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan with an option to buy this summer.

The German club has confirmed that the former RB Salzburg player will ply his trade in the Bundesliga for the remainder of the season and revealed that the two parties have agreed on an option to buy come July.

The Kosovo international never managed to establish himself at the Olimpico and has left after only eight appearances for the Biancocelesti.

“Fortuna Dusseldorf have signed midfielder Valon Berisha,” the German club wrote in a statement. “The 26-year-old comes on loan from Lazio until the end of the season. Both clubs have agreed on an option to buy.”

Berisha came to Lazio for €7.6m in July 2018 and has moved on after only one and a half season at the club.
