Former Real Madrid forward Juanito Gomez tragically died in a car accident on April 2, 1992, and, as such, Thursday marks the 28th anniversary of his death.

Juanito represented Real Madrid on 214 occasions, scoring 55 goals and providing five assists, from 1977 to 1987.

Juanito was just 37 when he lost his life.
