The Belgium striker signed for Juve during Monday's transfer deadline day on-loan from RB Leipzig. The deal includes an option to buy.

Openda told Juve's media channels this morning: “I was very happy when I heard there was a chance to come here, and I didn't even sleep. I was ready to come here, and I'm so happy to have arrived.

"I'm delighted to be here, and everyone welcomed me very well, both within the club and from the fans at the airport. The facilities are beautiful; there's everything you need to perform at your best and recover as quickly as possible."

He also said, “I think my greatest strengths are speed and power. I'm a quick player, I like to exploit space, I hope to be able to use these qualities to help the team and score goals for the team.

“I know Italian football quite well; I follow this league a lot. I've also faced a couple of Serie A teams, so I know it's not easy to play in this league, because there are many excellent teams and very strong defenses, but I'm happy and can't wait to make my debut with the team.”
