Sampdoria and Parma have teamed up to release their own mashup shirts, celebrating a ‘historic bond’ between the clubs.
The two sides play each other at the Tardini on Sunday and, to commemorate the match, two special jerseys will be worn.
“A story made up of great challenges on the field and a long friendship in the stands,” explained a Press release.
“Parma and Sampdoria represent examples of fairness, loyalty and sportsmanship.
“For almost 30 years, while the two teams have been fighting to win, the two sets of fans have shown mutual respect, love and passion for their jersey.”
With that in mind, Parma will wear a version of the Samp shirt that includes a white, blue and yellow strip across the front.
The Blucerchiati, on other hand, will wear a white shirt with a blue, red and black cross.
The matchday jerseys will be auctioned off, with proceedings going to children’s hospitals where the teams are based.
They can also be purchased through official channels.
