Roma midfielder Paulo Dybala could be available for just '£10.6 million' to clubs outside Italy this summer.
The 29-year-old has been excellent this season after an emotional exit from Juventus took him to the Italian capital.
He has scored 16 goals in 34 games across all competitions in a season that has seen Jose Mourinho's side reach fifth in the league table and the Europa League semi finals.
Dybala has played an especially important role in Europe, scoring an 89th minute equaliser against Feyenoord in the quarter finals to take the tie to extra time.
Despite his success at the club, the Giallorossi may find it tough to hang on to their Argentine star. Fabrizio Romano reports his release clause is just '£10.6m' for clubs outside Italy, and '£17.6m' for Serie A sides.
If an Italian club does come in for Dybala, Roma will reportedly be able to 'cancel' the release clause by raising his salary from '£3.1m to £5.3m', but in this case the midfielder would have 'the final say'.
Although the numbers involved in prising such a highly-rated player away from Roma seem relatively low, Mourinho appears quietly confident he can keep the World Cup winner.
Speaking after Dybala's dramatic Europa League goal last week, the manager said: 'My sensation is that [Dybala] was seeking the joy he had lost more than confidence.
'He found it here, with a squad that understands him, a coach that loves him, a position on the field with players like [Lorenzo] Pellegrini, [Bryan] Cristante and [Gianluca] Mancini he has strong characters around him in leadership roles.
'He has the quality to play for the biggest clubs in the world, but he has found joy here. I gave him absolute freedom to come on tonight and he could come off even two minutes later if he didn't feel up to it, but he played 30 minutes of extra time and 25 minutes regular, and he finished on a high.'
Roma will now face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League semi finals next month, as they hunt down a second continental trophy in as many years.
Having won nothing in Europa since 1961, they won the Europa Conference League last season with a 1-0 win over Feyenoord in the final.
Victory this season would secure Champions League qualification in spite of a tight battle in the upper echelons of Serie A, which currently sees Roma outside of the top four on goals scored.
They will next be in action with a potentially vital clash against the team directly above them, AC Milan, on Saturday.

Dybala a world class midfielder only for 16m while Declan rice is valued 100m, because he’s English over hype and overrated, if dybala was English or German I guess he would have been value 100m too
