Pavard agent denies Napoli talk

Benjamin Pavard’s agent has reportedly denied that the VFB Stuttgart defender is close to Napoli.

It was reported by Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli yesterday that the Partenopei are close to a deal for the French international, and that was picked up by Sky today.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed Napoli’s interest, but stated that no official offer had been made.

Now Radio Crc’s Raffaele Auriemma states that he has spoken to Pavard’s agent, who denied having any contact with Napoli.

The journalist points out that could mean that talks have only gone as far as speaking to Stuttgart, but that would hardly mean that a deal is close.
