Chelsea's move for Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic has been thrown into doubt amid growing uncertainty from Mauricio Pochettino, according to reports.
The 23-year-old forward has been the subject of interest from the Blues, who were willing to offer out-of-favour striker Romelu Lukaku plus up to £38.5m to secure the Juventus star.
However, according to The Guardian, it seems that the possibility of the Serbian international earning a move to Stamford Bridge this summer is fading.
According to the outlet, Blues boss Pochettino is 'unconvinced' over Vlahovic and a move to Chelsea will not be sanctioned without his permission.
The reluctance to move for Vlahovic could, in turn, cause more problems for Lukaku, who has been seeking an exit from the west London club this summer.
Lukaku had initially been linked with a move back to Inter Milan this summer after spending last season on loan at the San Siro where he netted 10 goals in 25 Serie A games.
However, Inter pulled out of the race for the 30-year-old upon hearing he had held talks with Juventus at the same time.
Since then, the Belgian international has not been involved in any of Chelsea's pre-season preparations as he continues to seek an exit.
Vlahovic, meanwhile, scored 10 goals in 27 appearances last season after struggling for form and fitness at points, but the Blues are willing to take a chance on the striker's fitness with Mauricio Pochettino a huge fan.
Should Chelsea opt against a move for Vlahovic, the Blues could turn their attention to PSG wantaway forward Neymar.
The Brazilian forward's advisers reportedly continue to hold talks with the Blues over a sensational move since the star informed the Ligue 1 champions that he wants to leave this summer.
The Brazilian superstar joined PSG in a world record £198million move from Barcelona in 2017 and is now keen to secure an immediate exit before the European transfer window closes.
Chelsea have previously sounded out a potential deal for Neymar and could be the most suitable next destination as discussions continue between the player and the club, as reported by RMC Sport.
Neymar currently has two years remaining on his PSG deal with the option of a further year after agreeing a new contract in 2021.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino previously got the best out of Neymar during their time together at PSG before the Argentinian coach was fired, and would be a familiar face to the star.
