Chelsea transfer news: The latest Blues media briefing from Stamford Bridge with reaction to stories on Neymar's link to the Blues and Michael Olise

Chelsea have re-emerged as a potential location for Neymar this summer after the Brazilian told Paris Saint-Germain he wanted to leave the club.

According to the Evening Standard, the Blues boss is 'not keen' on reuniting with Neymar and would disapprove a deal to bring the 30-year-old to Stamford Bridge. The duo worked together at PSG and it's suggested that there remains concerns over his profile and whether it fits the culture being implemented.

Neymar is, of course, a world-class player and has an abundance of skill. However, since switching Barcelona for PSG six years ago, there have been a number of incidents that place his character into question.

Manchester City have also been credited with interest. And after Palace lost Wilfried Zaha, they could be handed a further blow should his £35million release clause be activated. Roy Hodgson has conceded that the 21-year-old will need to make a decision if he's tempted by a move.

"No one knows at this moment. If there are clubs desperately or seriously preparing a bid and tempting him then he'll have a decision," he told Sky Sports.

"I can only wait and see what decision he is going to make. He knows we are very keen to keep him. You can never be certain that the players you've got, like, want are definitely going to stay - we have a transfer market. I can only hope that market doesn't on this occasion punish us by persuading one of our very important players to move."

football.london says: A moment of silence for Palace. After losing their best player in Zaha on a free transfer, they could lose Olise.

The France Under-21 international has set Selhurst Park alight in the last 12 months and could be so important in their hopes of avoiding another relegation fight. However, Palace simply won't have any control over the matter if Chelsea activate his release clause.

Capable of playing in a range of positions, Olise would be smart business by Chelsea and - unlike Neymar - fit the transfer strategy used at Cobham perfectly.

It's just a matter of whether Chelsea will make the first move or miss out to Man City...
