Paul Pogba is now leaning towards staying at Manchester United, with talks over extending his current deal expected to take place in due course, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal and that has led to fears at Old Trafford the World Cup winner could depart on a free transfer next summer.
But The Athletic claim United's 4-1 victory against Newcastle on Saturday has had a significant bearing on his thinking about his future and could now be set to stay with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.
