Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has revealed that the striker has not agreed to new terms with AC Milan ahead of the new season.
It had been reported that the 38-year-old had agreed to a £6million-per-season deal with added performance and Champions League qualification bonuses.
The super-agent, who also represents Paul Pogba, took to Twitter to label the rumours as 'fake news'.
Whilst Milan look to be the front runners to re-sign the 38-year-old, who scored 10 goals and got five assists in half a season for them, they are still yet to iron out the details of a new deal.
Raiola squad all rumours by sharing an image of Ibrahimovic with the accompanying caption: 'Fake News! Ibrahimovic has NOT renewed his contract with AC Milan'.
Ibrahimovic has been absent from the Rossoneri's pre-season training under coach Stefano Pioli.
Pioli is said to be keen on re-signing the striker, who joined the Serie A side back in December 2019 on a free transfer.
The club are looking to seal Ibrahimovic's signature on a one-year deal according to Sky Sport Italia.

By respecting of what he has done to Milan after from January, we should think to let him go and focus on new striker (Jovic) and new creative midfielder

It's not about age, I know age is just a no. for players like Ronaldo or Zlatan, but he just can't demand so much. He gotta understand that Milan won't pay so much for a 38yo no matter how good you play. He is just uselessly prolonging his extension. It's just attention seeking and nothing else. Just sign the contract and get set go. No need of so much drama and suspense.
and that's non of your business... just enjoy football

No Zlatan is doing too much drama. There's no point of pushing a 38yo like this. If he wants to play then he will come.

AC Milan must invest in some promising and solid players this transfer season in order to compete for the Scudetto this season. It’s been too long for some of us Milan fans ...this absence from the top.

Man it's very hard to see a football team who has contributed so much to the history of the beautiful game become a shadow of their former selves. But still I hope Milan goes back to where it belongs - The summit of European football
