Manchester United are weighing up a move for Moises Kean whilst his release clause remains live but Rasmus Hojlund is determined to prove himself at Old Trafford
Rasmus Hojlund appears happy to be back in Manchester United training despite consistent talk of a move away as the Dane said on social media: "Hello. It’s good to be back".
The forward has struggled during his two years at Old Trafford, despite joining in a deal worth more than £70million back when Erik ten Hag was in charge. He's scored 26 times across his spell at the club, but looked increasingly bereft of confidence last term.
He was always signed with an eye to his development, but he has not come on like many in Manchester had hoped. As a result a move away, potentially back to Italy has been rumoured. It is understood that Inter Milan are keen on the striker.
Despite the noise surrounding his next move Hojlund looks happy to be back in action as he trained in the gym in front of the cameras. He is keen to prove himself at the Premier League giants.
That hasn't stopped Ruben Amorim from eyeing up more firepower and, with Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggling to produce the necessary goals, alternatives are being eyed with Moises Kean among them after scoring 19 times for Fiorentina.
Kean has emerged as a possible target despite his forgettable experience in England previously with Everton. He was in stellar form for Fiorentina last term and can leave for a modest fee, but United could face competition from Saudi Arabia if they do choose to pursue him.
The Italian will be allowed to leave the club for €52m (£45m) due to a clause that can be triggered until July 15. Al-Hilal currently appear most advanced as they look to raid Italy once again with Simone Inzaghi now in charge having left Inter to take the job.
The likes of Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres have also been cited a possible targets, which underlines United's desire to land a prolific No 9 having experienced problems there in recent seasons. Behind the central striker Amorim is also looking for new arrivals.
Matheus Cunha has joined from Wolves, but he remains the only new face as the club's recruitment hits a roadblock. There main target currently in Bryan Mbeumo but they've seen two bids rejected by Brentford as they dig their heels in over the player's valuation.

You are only as good as your last performance. Hojlund is not doing well right now and Man United has every right to shop for a new striker

don't sell Rasmus and Zikjee coz they are young players who will become better just like Elanga. who knew Gyokeres when he was at Coventry.

Kean flopped at Everton, flopped at Juventus and will flop at United if he goes there. For the love of god, please do not buy him!

Rasmus will be good with time he needs to continue to develop and we need to get quality players around him as well not all those lazy and self centred players who don’t want to pass the ball to him but would rather shot and miss
