Match Report

Real Madrid recovered from going a goal down to beat Real Sociedad 3-1 in La Liga on Saturday.

Mikel Oyarzabal had put Sociedad ahead from the penalty spot in the 10th minute before Eduardo Camavinga equalised in the 40th minute.

Luke Modric then put Madrid ahead in the 43rd minute before Karim Benzema doubled the advantage in the 76th also from the penalty spot.

Marco Asensio wrapped up proceedings with his goal in the 79th minute.

With the win they stretched their unbeaten run in the league to seven games and move eight points clear at the top.

Madrid now turn their attention to the Champions League where they trail PSG 1-0 in the Round of 16 tie.
