Real Madrid 'keeping track' of Fenerbahce's teenage star Arda Guler

Real Madrid are tracking young Fenerbahce sensation Arda Guler, dubbed the 'Turkish Messi'.

The Spanish giants have already splashed out £113million on Jude Bellingham this summer, but are not eyeing up a deal for another one of Europe's top young talents in 18-year-old Guler.

Guler enjoyed an impressive campaign for Fenerbahce, making 34 appearances and racking up six goals and seven assists as they finished runners-up to Galatasaray in the Super Lig.

The teenager was also named man of the match as he helped the club to a 2-0 win over Basaksehir in the Turkish Cup Final.

His performances have alerted Madrid according to Marca, and has a release clause in his contract which means he could be snapped up for as little as £16million.

Madrid aren't alone in admiring the midfielder, with Guler previously linked with a move to Barcelona, while Liverpool, AC Milan and Benfica have also been keeping tabs on the Turkish youngster.

Sevilla were another club looking to secure his services, after coming up against Guler during last season's Europa League. However, it not appears that Madrid could be the teenager's next destination.

Guler would fall in line with the Spanish club's most recent recruitment strategy, as they've invested heavily in young talent.

Along with this summer's acquisition of Bellingham, in recent season's the club have also brought in Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Endrick as well as Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni.

Despite his young age, Guler has already been capped four times for the Turkish national team, and scored his first goal for this country against Wales earlier this month.

Thanks to his style of play and close ball control, the 18-year-old has been compared to Inter Miami bound Lionel Messi - and been given the nicknamed 'The 'Turkish Messi'.
