Real Madrid are ready to make an offer for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz in an effort to beat the competition for the 23-year-old, states La Repubblica.
Ruiz is in his second season in Serie A after signing for the Partenopei in the summer of 2018 for €30m from Real Betis and has emerged as one of Napoli’s best players.
La Repubblica states that Spanish giants Real are ready to make an offer to bring the former Betis player back to Spain.
The Roman newspaper suggests that Real sent an observer to Brescia to scout Ruiz on Friday night, a game in which Ruiz scored.
Barcelona are also interested in the player, and La Repubblica speculates that Los Blancos President Florentino Perez wants to steal a march on their bitter rivals by snapping up Ruiz before the season ends.
Napoli are currently in talks with Ruiz over a contract extension, with the club seeking to insert a buyout clause over €100m, whilst the player’s agent would like such a clause to be set under that figure.

people say that real madrid midfiled is too many..there's no such thing as too many..the midfield is the department that needs great player..when the engine room, which in this case is midfield, every team will get in trouble.just look at what Man Utd experiencing right now.they had trouble with midfield.with pogba issues, mctominay injury and two clown in pereirra and lingard.the only player that they have is fred and matic.what will happen when all those problem stated, and one of matic and fred got injured?you either drop to bottom half of the league table or you get relegated from the league.that's why MU shelled almost £60M for bruno fernandes which is on midfield department because when your midfield sucks, good luck on trying to get a win or a 3 point to stay in the league
