Real Madrid's UCL star Rodrygo to reach 150 professional games at the age of 20

Should he feature at Mestalla against Valencia on Sunday, Rodrygo Goes will reach 150 games as a professional footballer.

The Brazilian wonderkid has already made 149 appearances in which he has scored 27 times and has produced 18 assists. In 64 duels for Los Blancos, Rodrygo has netted 10 goals and has registered the same number of assists.

Before joining Real Madrid, he played 82 games for his former team Santos, for whom he netted 17 times and grabbed eight assists.

At the age of 20, the talented forward has also featured three times for Brazil, but he is yet to get his name on the scoresheet.

"I work every day to be always available and help," Rodrygo said recently.

"Achieving milestones like this is something I aspire to. I know that I am still young, but I seek to increase these figures even more, dedicating myself fully to Real Madrid."

At Santos, Rodrygo became a fan favourite as it took him just two months to score his first goal for the Brazilian side and in March 2018, he became the youngest Santos player to dispute a Copa Libertadores duel at the age of 17 years and 50 days.

A move to Real Madrid... and the Champions League

Rodrygo netted in his Real Madrid debut against Osasuna and became the first player born in the 21st century to have ever scored a goal for the club.

He is also the third youngest player to score a goal in the club's history (aged 18 and 259 days), behind Alberto Rivera (17 years and 111 days) and Manolo Sanchis (18 years and 195 days).

Meanwhile, the Brazilian prodigy has stood out in the Champions League, as in 17 games for Real Madrid he has scored six goals with just eight shots on target and has also registered four assists in 675 minutes on the pitch.

"Real Madrid always try to win all the competitions they play in and that's what we think," noted Rodrygo.

"We will fight to make this a great season."
