There are reports that Massimiliano Allegri has a pre-contract agreement to take over at Roma from Paulo Fonseca next season, but it could be anticipated.
According to Radio Radio and Calciomercato.it, the former Juventus coach has ‘already signed’ the pre-contract worth two years plus an option for a third.
The salary will be slightly higher than Fonseca’s, but lower than the one he commanded at Juventus, coming out eventually to circa €4.5m per season.
These reports state that there is a clause making the contract valid only if Roma qualify for the Champions League.
That would be for next season, but it is purely to ‘block’ Allegri from agreeing with any other clubs.
If the situation with Fonseca continues to deteriorate, then Allegri could be brought in earlier than that.

Allegri had 2 CL finials and he is experienced too
Yes I agree with you but im skeptical if his football will work with the roma team. This roma team is more about offensive play which is more or less the opposite of Allegris football.

I like Spalletti over Allegri. Allegris football never convinced me. If we do change coach allegri is not the right man in my opinion
