The Rossoneri coach Stefano Pioli wants the Serbian centre-back at San Siro, but the Tuscan side aren’t willing to let him leave this summer.
But La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Viola are willing to let Chiesa move to Milan on a discount, as the Italy international seems unwilling to renew his current deal in Florence.
Chiesa’s contract expires in June 2022 and Fiorentina risk selling him for even less next summer, but Milan have Milenkovic at the top of their wish list.
The newspaper claims Fiorentina are ready to lower the asking price for Chiesa, hoping the Diavolo will then shift their attention away from the centre-back.
