Roma have reportedly reached an agreement with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who should renew until June 2022.
The Giallorossi are working to secure a new deal with the Armenia international and Sky Sport Italia reports the 31-year-old has met with sporting director Tiago Pinto.
The broadcaster expects the renewal to be made official in the coming weeks and that the players pens a new deal until June 30, 2022.
Mkhitaryan has played 17 Serie A games this term, contributing eight goals and eight assists in the process, continuing to impress for La Lupa.
The attacking midfielder arrived on a free transfer from Arsenal in September 2020, one year after he moved to the Giallorossi on a paid loan reportedly worth €3.1m.
