With news Chris Smalling sustained yet another injury, Roma have approached Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak.
English centre-back Smalling barely played throughout last season and has struggled over the summer too, with reports a muscular lesion has ruled him out for at least three weeks.
With his fitness a real concern and Juan Jesus released at the end of his contract, Roma risk being a little short in defence.
