Roma sprinkle some Stardust on their new away kit with Bowie-like lightning bolt

Roma have unveiled their new away kit, with the strip featuring a striking design.

The white shirt includes a lightning bolt, which runs from the left shoulder to the right hip.

As reported by Roma's official website, the strip references Roman god of the sky Jupiter.

The kit includes crimson shorts and white socks, with the latter also containing a yellow lightning bolt detail.

The lightning bolt bears a resemblance to David Bowie's famous Aladdin Sane album cover.

Roma's new away kit will go on sale on Friday.

So far this summer, Paulo Fonseca's side have brought in three new players, with Leonardo Spinazzola, Amadou Diawara and Pau Lopez all joining the club.

There have been some high profile departures, with Kostas Manolas, Luca Pellegrini, Daniele De Rossi and Stephan El Shaarawy having left.

Last season Roma finished in sixth place in Serie A, and they will be determined to improve upon that this campaign.
