Roma striker Mattia Almaviva has signed a first pro contract.
Famously, Almaviva received the captain's armband seven years ago from Francesco Totti at the end of the final game of his career.
The striker has signed with Totti's agency and now has earned himself a first pro deal.
Almaviva posted to social media: "I have dreamed of his since I was little, I fought to get this starting point and now I can happily say that I have achieved it.
"I can finally say that I have signed my first professional contract with Roma, and I want to thank the club for the great opportunity given, my family and my agents, hoping to reach other goals like this. GO ROMA."
