It will be as if Roma have Francesco Totti among their ranks against Real Madrid as the club look to bring the spirit of the legendary No.10 to the Stadio Olimpico before this Tuesday's Champions League fixture.
A year and a half after his retirement, Roma will pay tribute to the former captain in the stands as Eusebio Di Francesco's team play for top spot in the group.
At 40 years old and 25 seasons after his debut, Totti retired two seasons ago after having played 785 games and having scored 307 goals.
He left as a club legend, known for his talent and loyalty.
Nobody could take him away from the club, not even Florentino Perez.
"He told me that I was the only player to say no to him," Totti remembered before the Italians visited the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in September.
On May 28, 2017, the Italian capital saw fans flock to the stadium to say goodbye to him in his final game and it will be full again on Tuesday to pay tribute ahead of a crucial fixture.
The game will kick off at 21:00 CET after Totti receives a special commemorative shirt designed especially for the occasion, one which is the same as those given out for the club's Hall of Fame.
Totti has been a member of that exclusive club since May 2017, taking it to 28 different players to have been included since it was created in 2012.
Roma have invited fans to arrive early to take in the events, which will begin an hour before the game starts.
The former striker will be at the heart of it all and will then return to his usual role in Monchi's sporting management team at the club.
