Fabrizio Romano: Yassine Bono to Al Hilal, here we go! Documents to be checked today for Moroccan GK who’s joining the Saudi league on three-year deal
Sevilla agreed €21m package deal with Al Hilal on Tuesday. Medical booked.
Next one to close after Neymar and Bono: Aleksandar Mitrović.
Sevilla goalkeeper Bono is set to complete a move to Al-Hilal in the coming days worth £17.9million.
The 32-year-old played his final game for the Spanish side on Wednesday night against Manchester City in the Super Cup, with his side coming up short versus the Treble winners.
The Morocco international made a number of saves in the game but failed to keep out any of City's five spot kick's in the penalty shootout, with Sevilla defender Nemanja Gudelj hitting the bar with his side's fifth kick to decide the game.
Bono had been strongly linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer and the move is now set to be completed in the coming days.
According to Fabrizio Romano, documents will be checked on Wednesday before Bono puts pen to paper to sign a three-year deal in the Middle East.
Bono, who has played for the likes of Atletico Madrid and Girona throughout his career, signed for Sevilla permanently in 2020 following a brief loan spell at the club.
His stocks rose during the World Cup in Qatar, where he put in a string of impressive performances to help Morocco reach the semi-finals of the tournament, the first African side to do so.
He had been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer to replace the injured Thibaut Courtois, but decided against staying in Spain because they club didn't want him to feature in the next African Cup of Naitons.
While Madrid instead signed Kepa Arrizagalaga from Chelsea, Bono will still move this summer, instead joining the plethora of players moving from Europe to the Saudi Pro League, with a medical booked in.
Another player reportedly close to completely a deal to join the league is Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The forward's potential move has been one of the longest running stories of the summer, with the player reportedly claiming he would never play for Fulham again after they rejected the approaches of Al-Hilal.
Though he returned to training and came off the bench in their Premier League opener against Everton, a deal is now understood to finally be edging closer to completion.
He would join Bono in being the newest face through the doors at the club following the arrival of Neymar from PSG on Monday.

Saudí pro league is cooking something else by signing Europes most talented and stars and all thanks to the REAL GOAT 🐐 #AL CR7…. It will be interesting to see if they are allowed to be in the champions league …. BONO at his age is still good seeing him took Morroco on his shoulders during the World Cup and Sevilla to win Europa League… Chelsea should have go for him since loaning kepa to Madrid and he could have compete with Sanchez in the goal post

You mean the impact money created right? Yes they have always had the money but never splashed it on a project like this before...The time is now and they came up with the strategy of splashing money that would be difficult for players to resist especially when they ain't in their prime. They understand that player wants more money and took advantage of that. Mbappe only refused their money because he is still in his prime. Only Messi at 36 rejected such money...there are people whom money cannot buy. So don't even think this is Ronaldo's effect. If anything, it's players looking at Ronaldo and thinking if money could drive him, then they could also give in and get better wages for life after football.

LOL Messi also went to Miami for money, he doesn't play for free, if he was that loyal or whatever, he would have come to Barca for free and take the lowest wage
