Tests reportedly showed there is no serious damage to Cristiano Ronaldo’s ankle, but he remains in doubt to face Napoli on Sunday.
A statement from the club this afternoon confirmed Ronaldo would undergo tests for a knock to the left ankle sustained against Bologna.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the examinations showed no lesions or fractures, but it remains to be seen if he will be fit enough to start the Serie A clash with Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo this weekend.
He could be rested in order to protect him ahead of the Champions League Round of 16 with Atletico Madrid on March 12.

Thank goodness there's no serious injury. Not his fan but I don't wish to see any player out injured when their club needs him/her the most. He is a hope for millions, just like mine is Messi. Get well soon champ.
