I don't understand how the French Football magazine hand out the Balon d'or. 2009 Messi got the Balon d'or because he finished top scorer in the UCL but Cr7 was denied the Balon d'or in 2018 after finishing top scorer in the UCL. In 2010 Messi got the Balon d'or for finishing with the most goal in a calendar year but Cr7 (on numerous occasions) and Robert Lewandoski had been denied the Balon d'or when they finished top scorer in a calendar year. 2011, Messi won the Balon d'or for winning the triple but Wesley, Xavi and iniesta had all been denied the Balon d'or when they won the triple. 2012, Messi won the Balon d'or for breaking Gerd Muller scoring record in a calendar year, but Cr7 was denied when he broke the All time Scoring record. 2015 Messi won the Balon d'or for being the most high profile player in the team that won the triple after it was clear he was third best to Nyemar and Suarez, but Cr7 had gotten nothing for being high profile player in a winning side. 2019 Messi won the Balon d'or because it was believe that his competitor Van D had just one good year, but Cr7 was denied the Balon d'or to his competitor Modric who had juat a semi good tournament. I don't want to talk about this 2021 because the whole world and the man (Messi himself) had admitted that it's daylight robbery, simply because Messi won a trophy (non European trophy) with Argentina, but Cr7 got nothing for winning the Nation league (a European trophy) with Portugal. This Balon d'or seems to have no standard.

Ballon D'or is something people vote for and give you so if someone doesn't like you no matter what he won't vote for you so reason better than that..Cr7 801goals are achievements something he works for..5 champion league,115 international goals,801 carrer goals..Tell me how messi superior to cr7 when him doesn't achieve any of the above that I've just stated
