Udinese coach Runjaic attended the press conference after his team's home loss to Cagliari. He stated that the team must face the defeat, learn from the mistakes made during the match, and emphasized that the goal remains to secure as many points as possible.
"We made some silly mistakes, and it was a bitter defeat. We have to accept reality. I've told the players that the most important thing is not to lose," said Runjaic.
Regarding the team's three consecutive losses, Runjaic commented, "Three straight defeats are never good, but it has happened, and I remain calm about it. The season is still long, and we still have many opportunities to pick up points. We have a long way to go, and the goal is to keep earning points."
He continued, "We conceded too many goals, but we must remain calm, stay united, work together, and learn from our mistakes. We will approach the next matches with the goal of fighting for points."
Additionally, when asked about Davis's physical condition, Runjaic revealed, "He felt some discomfort in the back of his thigh. We don't yet know exactly when the problem occurred because of his high match intensity. We will know more tomorrow. I hope and believe it's nothing serious."
